Il mio nome è Elisa Cosci, sono italiana, di Pisa e ho vissuto per circa otto anni all'estero tra Stati Uniti e Germania. Ho cominciato a ballare il tango in Italia nel 2003 dopo averlo assaggiato in piccole dosi anni prima durante un workshop per attori. All'epoca lavoravo, infatti, nel teatro di ricerca. Passo musica e organizzo milonghe dal 2007, quando abitavo a Dallas e non ho mai smesso. Dal 2014 sono tornata in Italia dove continuo a lavorare con l'associazione che abbiamo fondato nel 2018 EnTangolment ASD per la quale metto musica, organizzo eventi e offro una didattica contaminata dalla mia formazione teatrale.
Laureata con Lode all'Università di Pisa in Lettere e Discipline dello Spettacolo, ho studiato arte, cinema, musica, videoarte ma soprattutto teatro con una tesi sul Teatro sociale contemporaneo. Durante gli studi ho portato avanti una formazione attorale attraverso corsi professionali. Per anni ho lavorato in teatro come attrice e operatrice con spettacoli e laboratori in diversi contesti, dal teatro, alle scuole, al carcere, alle aziende, agli istituti psichiatrici. Proprio grazie al teatro ho anche conosciuto il tango.
Mi sento semplicemente una persona che ama il mondo del tango e per questo cerca di conoscerlo da più punti di vista. Mettere musica mi permette di entrare nel vivo della materia tanguera e di provare con serietà e umiltà a servire questo mondo.
My name is Elisa Cosci, I am italian (Pisa) but I spent some years abroad. I gradueted Magna cum Laude in Letters and Performing Arts from the University of Pisa, Italy. I have a vocational training as actress and theater teacher and I taught theater for schools, institutes and private companies in Italy. In the United States I dedicated myself to teaching the Italian language and Argentine Tango. In Germany I taught Italian as a foreign language at the University and at the VHS and I was TangoDj for different associations and events.
I started to dance some years ago (2003-04) after a workshop for actors (at that time I was a young actress) and through that I got the first amazing bite of tango. Since then a lot of things have been changed but despite the twist and turns of my life, tango stood by me or maybe better, I keep standing by it! Being a TDj lets me widen my knowledge of tango, and through that I humbly aim to serve it.
Indeed I am just a person who loves Tango and who tries to discover it from different prospects.
Mein name ist Elisa Cosci, ich bin Italienerin aber ich habe von 2006 bis 2014 im Ausland gewohnt. In Pisa habe ich mein Studium zur Lettere Moderne e Discipline dello Spettacolo (Diplom in Moderner Literatur, Italianische Sprache und Performing Arts) absolvierte . Nach vielen Jahren im Theater als Schauspielerin und Schausspielkunstlehrerin, bin ich erst in die USA und danach nach Deutschland umgezogen. Ich arbeitete weiterhin als Italienischlehrerin bei der VHS und an der UNI-Augsburg.
Allerdings bin ich nur ein Mensch, der den Tango liebt und der versucht ihn aus verchiedenen Perspektiven zu erforschen. Ich habe vor einigen Jahren (2003-04) angefangen Tango zu tanzen, nach einem Schausspielersworkshop (damals war ich eine junge Schausspielerin in Forschungstheater). Da hatte ich meinen ersten anregenden Kontakt mit dem Tango. Seitdem habe ich viel in meinem Leben geändert, aber ich halte mich am Tango fest, weil er mir irgendetwie etwas lebenswichtiges gibt. Eine Musicalizadora zu sein, ist mir eine Ehre, die meine Tangokenntnis vertieft. Was ich will, ist nur ihn bescheiden zu unterstützen.
